HOW TO DISPOSE:
As supplied, Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath is biodegradable and contains no VOCs, solvents, acids, bases or hazardous ingrediants. in most locations, Metal Rescue™ is directly sewerable. For used Metal Rescue™, if hazardous wastes (certain oils, paints, heavy metals, etc.) have not been introduced into the solution, only the iron content of the solution will dictate how it can be disposed. It is recommended to check local and federal disposal requirements.

HOW TO STORE:
Metal Rescue™ has an infinate shelf life (for un-opened product). Once opened, the shelf life of the solution will vary due to biodegradability. Used solution that is poured back into a sealed container will allow anaerobic bacteria to begin the degradation process. We recommend placing the cap back on the bottle, but leaving it loose to allow some minor air flow. Open baths that are covered to prevent too much evaporation will continue to operate effectively for up to 12 months. If the Metal Rescue™ solution freezes, move it to a warmer area and let stand to thaw. Once completely thawed, you can use as directed.

Your metal parts can be restored in 5 minutes to 24 hours, depending upon the amount of rust, type of steel and temperature of the solution. NOTE: for industrial customers, this de-rusting time can be accelerated dramatically to improve process times by increasing the heat and applying agitation. Contact an ARMOR representative to discuss your particular situation. Metal Rescue™ has completed de-rusting of metal parts for industrial customers in as little as 60 seconds when conditions are altered.
